Censorship is so Liberal!!

I was watching this video, band is funny as hell and the first thing that struck my attention is that they censored some words in the second verse, and my imagination ran wild with what that verse might actually be.

Lets X X X, Lets X X X X at a gay bar..
man this song must be filthy..
I'm thinking, lets suck c***, lets suck f***ing c*** at a gay bar..
man that is hilarious, I can see why they would censor that, but was I right?

so I get the CD and find the words are

Let's start a war, let's start a nuclear war at a gay bar.

wait what? you censored the words, "Start a War"?
seriously? REALLY?

I watch MTV and I hear "Bitch" "Ho" "Ass"
I see thugs with guns talking about bustin caps in bitches..

and you censor the word war in comedic context?

just more proof that liberals are turning our nation into something insane.

Conservatism- Open Discussion, where do we draw the line on freedoms?

The one thing that is so often on my mind a lot is conversations I have with people who seem so conservative but vote Democrat, this always bothers me so much, but their general perception of Republicans is that, they are the ones trying to stiffle their freedoms. This always bugs me so much and I try to explain to them that it is the progressive movement Nanny State that does this, but then I listen to Limbaugh, I listen to Hannity and I hear way too many moments when they suddenly turn their back on the idea of freedom and start bashing the idea of, legalizing drugs or something along those lines.

I used to have that stance, and it mostly was out of the fact that nothing annoys me more than a stupid pothead, but later in life I found liberals can be just as stupid and annoying without the drugs, so maybe it's not the governments job to make you a good person. I hate paying income tax, I feel it's just so crappy to have to pay taxes on labor. I'd personally support any "Sin" tax so long as it replaced income tax and was not put on top of it (well, not ANY, only a reasonable amount). And that makes me think to myself if the government could be the only legal source for currently illegal drugs, and they was going to pay for the federal budget, you'd better believe I'd be all over that. In fact the more I think about it, I do want a government who wants to MAKE money as opposed to the current cesspool that only wishes to print and spend it.

It seems what is holding us back is this fear of government mixing with business, let me use the current situation in my own state of Virginia with the rest areas, to cut spending our Slingblade looking governor Tim Kaine closed down most of the rest areas in our state. Why are rest areas an economic drain? do they really think a stop off that is located directly on the interstate can not be profitable? would any gas station chain on the planet not kill for such a primary place to park a gas station? Why are they not forward thinking enough to consider making a deal with a gas station? build this building, include a ton of bathrooms and keep them clean, and you get to do business here at a reasonable price.. and before you know it Rest Areas are making the state money instead of draining it!! (I've been told there are currently states that do this already, is it Delaware maybe? I'm not certain which one)..

Yea I just went way off track, sorry about that.. anyways back to the topic at hand, the older I get, and I know I'm still a spring chicken, I start thinking more and more about the liberties we have allowed ourselves to lose. Every time I click mmy seatbelt I think about how sad it is they can actually give me a ticket and charge me a fine if I don't. My Wife was pulled over last week because she had decorative items hanging from her rear view mirror, is this where the freest nation on the earth has gone? I think about how people flock to that shithole that is New Orleans, do you know why? because it's one of the few places in this nation they can enjoy a beer while walking down the street. I think it's a shame people have to flock to the middle of a dessert in Nevada to Gamble or purchase a prostitute (again I don't have to condone an action to allow it.. it's about freedom).

I think the thing that got me started on this was a comedian and forgive me in that I can not remember his name at this moment, but what he said I thought was great.

"I don't vote for Democrats because I like to spend the money that I make, I don't vote for Republicans because I like to spend that money on Drugs and Hookers"..

Excuse me if I'm off base, but I feel like the Republican party needs to be stronger on the issue of limited government intervention in our lives, I know once they start pushing for actual freedoms some will still call them hypocrites for not supporting Abortion (but last time I checked Murder is not one of those freedoms we tend to support). But I think if we do that, if we truly commit to pulling the Federal government out of our lives, seeking better private sector solutions for some money draining services.. we will see a huge improvement in our economy, and personally I think the Democrats would be dead in the water.

I'm in this stage of over examining everything I've ever believed, I do think I'm leaning a bit more libertarian these days, but I just can't fully go there, the idea of tollbooths on every road to pay for all highway work does not appeal to me.. but many of their ideas do.

No Wonder Hollywood loves Washington so much...

I was looking over the weekend box office results for this weekend, and I really found this week to be quite interesting. My friend directed me as a horror fan to check out the latest ghost flick "Paranormal Activity". Watching this little film struggle to be released, struggle even more to find it's way into more than handful of theaters and then pretty much stomp the living crap out of most other hollywood crapfests makes for an interesting analysis on how clueless hollywood actually is.

At #1 we have "Where the Wild Things are", this movie deserves this slot, but it also had to fight to be where it is, Spike Jones actually approached this movie with a real respect for the source material, but more importantly a respect for children in general, and by that I mean it treats them as small people who can still think and reason for themselves, there are no fart jokes, hell there is nothing in typical kids movies that is just dumbed down and treating our children like they are full blown retarded like in 99.999% of kids movies today. Hollywood tried to scrap this movie several times, they even attempted to pull Jones from the project and start all over.... the end result? he stuck by his guns and the movie is a huge success both in box office and from the responses of audience and critics... Hollywood counts the money, but scratches it's head....

At #2 we have Law Abiding citizen, a cut and paste, big budget, let's take two big stars and pit them against each other in a fight over a broken legal system clone #10,000. Not a bad movie I'm sure.. the production budget is $50,000,000, and it grossed $21,000,000 over the course of the weekends boxoffice. Not a bad run by any means, until we look at #3

#3 Paranormal Activity- this is the biggest example of how out of their minds hollywood is. the movie had a production budget of $11,000. No I'm not missing any zeros, you read it right, eleven thousands dollars... it was a hit on the festival scene, and Paramount pictures has to make the call as to how to handle it.. what do they decide? first they try to talk everyone involved into just scrapping it, bringing in some big star talent, giving it a huge budget and making it over..... brilliant!!!(not)... luckily that does not happen and they decide to give it an extremely limited release, luckily in the end it goes nationwide and brings in $20,000,000 on it's opening weekend (I'd say that covered the budget and then some), and interesting bit is that it was only $1 million shy of the fall blockbuster Law Abiding Citizen.. what is interesting is that LAC launched in 2,890 theaters, while PA launched in.... 790 theaters.. this should leave someone thinking I would hope.

With business practices this moronic it's no wonder they lean towards the Democratic left, solid tried and true common sense practices are never even considered because they represent "The Old Way" of doing things, everything in hollywood is just one big Michael Bay flick.... Stupid, over the top, over priced, way over budget, and it makes me want to get up, walk out and demand my money back.

Liberals could take a lesson from ABC

ABC I know is part of the big liberal douchebag pile of crappy television stations, but this morning I'm tuned into TVLand watching reruns of their hit show "Extreme Makeover- Home Edition". I mean this really is a touching show, they find people who are wonderful people who are down and out and desperate for improvements in their living conditions, and then the show travels out and pretty much changes their life.

So I know the Liberal audience of ABC sits and watches and thinks "Wouldn't it be wonderful if our government did this? it's so good to see such wonderfully sweet liberalism in action". Oh wait, they think this show is Liberal? that is Capitalism bitches, it is such to the point that they have actually made helping the poor PROFITABLE.. do you hear me? they make millions on helping people!!

So there you go, you want to do everything for everyone Government? you have the blue prints, record it, and put it on the boob tube.. except when you give ACORN loans to Ho's or give honey deals to corrupt politicians, watch your ratings fall and the nation stops tuning in.

Can I at least keep my Nature films?

OK so maybe I was asking too much to keep the political bullshit out of hollywood movies and tv shows, but I can't give up nature documentaries and I'm more than fed up with the global warming bullshit being thrown into every situation.

Last weekend I arrived back from a week at the beach, while there I wanted to see a 3D Imax movie and my wife chose "Under the Sea 3D", sounds awesome and.. for the most part it was. Except the endless propaganda about "Climate Change". I guess liberals think the previous ice ages were flukes and that climates will never ever change, so I can deal with a bit of it.. I really took issue when they discussed how the Australian sea lion population was cut down severely by overhunting and then try to slip in and blame it on climate change (which is it? were they over-hunting or the climate change?). "the waters are warmer and they have no place left to go to find cool waters, they came as far south as there is to move" really? seems to me that just a little further south is a little something we like to call Antartica, do waters get any colder?

I swear to you every single animal discussed the segments end with "But with climate change they may not be with us much longer".. I wanted to rip my chair out of the floor and just smash it into the screen, how can people not see how completely weak minded they are to just eat this stuff up like they do? Hey I love nature, I hate pollution and I love animals (both in nature and on my plate), but this has gotten to the point of a cult like insanity and I can't take it any more.

I mean how many times do you get to be completely wrong, and change your story completely before people stop listening to you? Global Cooling, Global Warming, Climate change!!! enough is really enough, when you are ready to talk about actualy pollution I'm all ears, but when you want to demonize a friggen natural gas and your only sollution to the problem is taxing it.. I'm sorry but only a lunatic would still follow your marching orders at this point.

Can we just burn down Hollywood and start over?

I just want my f'ing television back.

So a while back a lot of us complained that while all of these comedy television shows would make fun of Bush to no end, none had the guts to insult the Messiah. To be honest I'm rather numb to the whole idea, and the more I think about it, I just want TV to go back to entertaining us and stop pushing agendas for either side. I feel like I just can't get away from it and it's annoying the ever loving crap out of me.

Look I know if I tune in to "The Daily Show", "The Colbert Report", "Saturday Night Live" or hell even "Family Guy" that I am going to be overloaded with so much anti-republican rhetoric I'm going to friggen drown in it, I accept that and just, don't tune in to any of those shows. Over the years I've really enjoyed shows like "Heroes", "Prison Break" and such and for the most part it's been a safe place to go to forget the stupid politics and just enjoy a good story with likable characters unfold, the favorite of mine has been "Supernatural", well, until this weeks episode.

The thing that kills me the most is that this show is about as conservative as it gets, hardassed men fighting evil, there is absolute black and white, angels and demons, good and evil, right and wrong.. there is NOTHING remotely liberal about this tale. Of course I knew where the writers stood a few months back when they mentioned "Joe the Plumber" and the character of Dean responds "That guy was a dick". But it was kind of minor and I let it go, but in this weeks episode Dean is taken into the future to see the end of days and witness where his crappy decisions have lead the world, and of course over and over we see "Palin wins election 2012!!, Palin makes decision to bomb Oklahoma!!". Palin, Palin, Palin.. Palins destroys the world.

This did not need to be there, to be honest I just wish they would leave politics out of entertainment, you don't entertain anyone when you alienate a good portion of your audience... it's just stupid and pointless and we have more than enough sources of bias politics we don't need it here.

So no, I'm not going to jump any writer/show for not having the balls to not tackle Obama, I'm going to jump them if they don't leave all politics out of it completely.

Henry Waxman makes me want to throw up..

I have nothing particularly important to say, but I was looking over the news and saw a few pictures of Henry Waxman, now I know this is juvenile and I've made peace with that but, this has got to be the ugliest son of a bitch this side of Michael Moore that I have ever seen, I guess I always thought maybe the pictures on various blogs were photoshopped like the Obama ear pictures, I had no idea anyone could actually be this horrifically ugly. So this mutant beast did not gain power based on his good looks, and I hope not his policies.. his charm? his money... ding!!! This guy looks like David Cross raped a Mule and decided to raise the mutated offspring as a politician.

I was just thinking to myself that Rosie O'Donell could have some funky butt loving with a mutant gorilla and by defying all laws of nature impregnate one of her dingle berries and the resulting abomination could still not possibly come out are hideous as this man.

I apologize for the childish lashout.. but it's been way too long since I've vented, and I have nothing of any real value to add except... this man looks like he was thrown into ugly prison, forced to toss the ugly salad, repeatedly raped with ugly and then beaten by a gang of uglies armed with ugly sticks..

That is all.

The "Stop Talking and Do it" Movement...

I've been watching and reading way too much garbage from Michael Moore these past few weeks, I can't help but not look away from the train wreck that this man is. We have a rich, fat slob who is sucking up as much money as he can while bashing the system that allowed him to do so (though more realistically it's the stupidity of the American public who put down movie to watch his garbage in the first place to give him money to keep doing what he does).

I think I'm just completely at a boiling point with Hollywood in general, I'm tired of all of the talk, the mockary, the "Funny or Die" videos assaulting our culture.. I'm ready for America to demand these a-holes put up or shut up.

My first demand, Michael Moore move to Cuba and try to make a documentary that critiques that government. Secondly any braindead young starlet who is giving support to Roman Polanski needs to be locked in a cell with him for a few months before making up their mind how innocent he is. I want Shaun Penn to move to Iran, and try to promote his movie about Harvey Milk while he is there. I want Madonna and Angelina Jolie to be banned from hiring Nannies to assist with the children they keep piling up. I want to set a Salary cap of $100,000 per movie in hollywood in general (I mean am I the only one that laughs at a dolt who demands up to $60-70 million per movie and sits and tries to make us act disgusted when some CEO of a big company gives themselves a $13 million dollar bonus). I think these days it's very clear that Joseph McCarthy not only was right, but he is sorely missed in this day and age.

I also take it I will not be prosecuted if I head to the pirate bay to download Michael Moores new film right? we shall see..
